Color Play AI — colorplayai.com
Last updated August 13, 2026 · v3
This policy explains what information Color Play AI LLC ("Color Play AI", "we", "us") collects when you use colorplayai.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and users under 18 may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 16.
Account information. When you sign up through our authentication provider (WorkOS), we receive and store your email address and, if provided, your first and last name.
Profiles you create. You may create profiles for the people you make coloring pages for — typically your children. Each profile can include a name or nickname you choose, an optional detail-level setting (labeled with age ranges), a preferred art style, and an avatar icon. This information is provided by you, the adult account holder — it is never collected from children. A nickname works fine; you don't need to use a real name.
Prompts and photos. The text descriptions you write and the reference photos you upload for photo-to-coloring-page generation.
Generated images. The coloring pages the Service creates for you.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer identifier and records of your purchases and credit usage. We never see or store your card number.
Acceptance records. When you accept our Terms, we record the version accepted, the time, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string.
Technical basics. Standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) kept for operations and security.
We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or use your content to train AI models.
We share information only with the service providers that run the Service:
| Provider | Purpose | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| WorkOS | Sign-in and account security | Email, name, login activity |
| Stripe | Payment processing | Email, purchase details, card data you enter with them directly |
| fal.ai | AI image generation | Your prompts and uploaded reference photos |
| AI Gateway (Vercel) | AI text suggestions | Prompt text |
| Railway | Hosting, database, and image storage | All data above, as our infrastructure host |
Profile names are never sent to AI providers or any other third party — generation uses only the style and detail-level preferences. Our AI image provider does not use your content to train its models.
Beyond service providers, we disclose information only if required by law, to protect the Service and its users, or as part of a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets).
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and no one under 16 may create an account. Users aged 16–17 may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the account under our Terms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Profile details about children are entered by the account holder (a parent or guardian, or a permitted minor in their own household), are used only to personalize coloring pages, and are never shared or sent to AI providers. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account or submitted personal information to us directly, we will delete it. Contact us at info@colorplayai.com.
We use only the cookies the Service needs to function: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a short-lived cookie used during sign-in, and a cookie remembering which profile you last used. We use no analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we don't track you across other sites, we do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals — there is nothing to turn off.
Data is stored with access controls, transmitted over HTTPS, and accessible only to the account that owns it (and to us, for operations and moderation). No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we make a material change, we will show you the updated policy the next time you sign in and ask you to accept it. Non-material updates are reflected in the Last updated date above.
